Service Agreement

1. Live preview ($4.99)
The $4.99 live preview fee covers the build and hosting of a working demo of your modernized website, delivered within 48 hours of payment. This fee is non-refundable. If you proceed with a monthly plan, the $4.99 is credited toward your first month of hosting.
2. Standard vs. complex projects
Standard projects — typical website modernizations with no custom backend features or complex data migration — have their redesign included in the $34.99/month plan at no additional project cost.
Complex projects — those requiring custom features, legacy system or database migrations, mobile app rebuilds, or multi-phase enterprise work — receive a separate scoped proposal prior to any work beginning. The proposal includes phases, deliverables, timeline, and a fixed price per phase. No work begins until the proposal is approved in writing.
3. The 12-month commitment
All engagements include a 12-month hosting and maintenance commitment, starting from the date the product goes live. This commitment is the trade for the included redesign and any project work.

* Buyout figures above are for a standard redesign valued at $1,500 with $34.99/month payments. Complex projects use the scoped project cost as the fair value base.
4. Hosting tiers
Standard hosting starts at $34.99/month and covers websites and simple applications. Compute-heavy applications (high traffic, background workers, AI features, real-time workloads, or large storage) are billed at actual infrastructure cost plus a management margin. The infrastructure estimate and margin are disclosed in the scoped proposal before any work begins.
5. Source file ownership
Upon completion of the 12-month commitment, all source code, design files, and assets are transferred to you in full. You can host them anywhere, with any provider. There is no lock-in beyond month 12.
